He carried out biomedical research at the University of California in Santa Barbara, and at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. Since 1996 he is a Professor of Physics of Living Matter at the. Having set up a small instruments building company, he has extensive experience in building scientific instrumentation and has 20 years of experience in biophysical research.
